Our Story

In my over four decades as a professional photographer I have learned many, many things. I have learned that photography is so much more than capturing the way the light plays across a person's features. It's about conveying a person's individual essence. It's about capturing those treasured moments with loved ones and having those moments as cherished reminders of precious times. Photography is about more than showing the world what your features look like: it's about showing the world what you do, who you love, most of all, who YOU are.

My love of the profession of photography started with the warmhearted guidance of my parents, my Dad being a second generation photographer. They taught me not only the skills and nuances of our craft, but taught me to see color, depth and a deep love and respect for all that have given us the honor of creating their memories and family history.

I've been blessed to continue this family tradition and legacy that my grandparents started when they opened their first studio in 1938. They passed it down to my parents and then my brother Scott and I joined the business, a business based in love.

I hold the degrees of Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman awarded from the Professional Photographers of America. It took several years of competing in professional print competitions, speaking on specialized areas of Professional Photography and service to the industry.
